Bridal hairstyles in Nigeria has evolved over the years and indeed continues to evolve. There was a time when braids was the ‘in thing’ for brides, and then the pin-up curls, followed by variations of chignons, to be replaced by long layered hairs with soft beach curls. Then came natural hairstyles with kinky extensions.
Human hairs with the versatility it affords has taken bridal hair dos to a new level – lace frontal and closures have replaced traditional leave outs and is presently one of the trends in the Nigerian bridal hair industry. Many brides like the different looks frontal hairs afford – snatched edges, baby hairs and the likes.
Updos appear to be currently in vogue, and they can be achieved with either the lace frontals, or natural hair styles, depending on preference .
However, current trends may not apply to every bride as each bride is unique. There are many different styles to suit different bridal preferences and so 2019 brides should not feel restricted in their choices just to keep up with trends.
As any other part of your wedding detail, pick a style that defines you, and helps you achieve your perfect look, one you’d look back on, years later, and still be happy you chose, and then hire a hairstylist to execute it just perfectly!
